An amazing journey
I loved this book. It had everything that you want from a novel. It reminded me of a modern day Lewis Carrol story. It had all the magic that you would want and while reading it you will feel like you have transported back in time. The characters are all loveable and makes you believe in ever lasting friendship. People who buy this book will not be disappionted as once you pick it up, you will not be able to put it down.
Why I wrote it
Ruby of Egypt is a story that I’ve always wanted to write. As a child, I read a book which had a scene where a black cat crept along the rooftops in Egypt.
And I just couldn’t get this cat out of my head.
Ruby of Egypt started with one question:
What if an ordinary child followed a mysterious black cat into Ancient Egypt and had to save someone?
