Think of your website as your business’s storefront, where your ideal clients meet you and you get to tell them about how your product or service and will solve their problem. You need to use words that explain clearly what it is that you do and how it can help your visitor.

People visiting your website have generally come there because your product or service might be the answer to what they are searching for. For example, a small business owner looking to change their branding will be searching for a brand and graphics designers. If you’re a brand and graphics designer, you need the written content on your website to clearly say this and how your service can help that visitor change their branding.

One website page refresh for your small business. For example, a homepage or services page refresh. It’s updating the words used to clearly show your visitors how your product or service can help solve their problem.

You already have a website, you just want to update your content so that it helps explain clearly who you are, what you do and how you can help your ideal client.

What do I get?

Coffee and Content Chat

A relaxed 40-minute chat where I get to know you and your business, understand the products and services that you’re selling and what problem they solve for your ideal client. We’ll also explore your business values, mission and tone. This helps me to transfer your spoken words into written words. 

The Coffee and Content chat will be done via a zoom link, which I will email to you before our chat. Just bring your coffee (or drink of your choice!) and yourself.

Your website

Your first draft will be emailed to you for review.

One round of small amendments

Once you’ve received your first draft, you can send me any relevant changes or small amendments you’d like me to make.

I’ll make these within one week of receiving your feedback.

Small amendments might include tweaking wording, correcting factual information you’ve supplied or making minor changes to reflect your preferred tone.

Significant rewrites, changes to the agreed topic or additional rounds of revisions may incur an additional charge, which I’ll discuss with you first.

Booking & payment

A £50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking and confirm your Coffee & Content Chat.

I’ll send you an invoice for the £50 deposit by email with my bank details for payment by bank transfer.

The remaining balance is payable by bank transfer once your final version is ready.

I’ll send your final Word document and final invoice together by email.

Your final website copy remains my copyright until the full balance has been paid. Once payment has been received in full, you’ll have permission to use the completed website copy for your agreed business purposes.

A little note about timings

We’ll agree the Coffee & Content Chat and delivery date when you book with your non-refundable deposit.

Your one round of amendments will be completed within one week of receiving your feedback.

This is the option to agree to a minimum three-month commitment of either 1 or 2 blog posts a month.
