Hey I’m Gemma. I absolutely love reading books and writing – especially creative stories.
As a child, I’d have my nose in a book followed by me scribbling my own story in my journal.
My firm favourite childhood reads were The Famous Five, The Secret Seven and Nancy Drew. Recently, I’ve been on a fantasy adventure
I created GeeGee Writing back in 2022, after the urge to get back into writing became an itch I needed to scratch. I previously blogged about books, then got lost in the thick of early motherhood.
I want to create a future with freedom of time for my family, and to always be there as they grow. I’ve always loved the art of writing and I find it extremely therapeutic to put physical pen to paper when I journal.
My background is in written communications, digital technology and project management. All perfect skills to help your small business with your copywriting, web copy and blog posts.
I want to lead by example.
I want to show my children, my nieces and my nephews that if you have a creative talent, if you focus your energy into it, you can make it your Ikigai.
To take what you are good at and what you love and turn it into something the world needs and that you can be paid for.
I love journalling, especially through the seasons and lunar cycles.
GeeGee was the nickname given to me by my grandad.
It’s the initials of my maiden name.
I’m a nature lover,
